Calcutta Unani Medical College and Hospital (UMCH), Kolkata

The Calcutta Unani Medical College & Hospital was founded in 1994 with infatigable efforts of Hk. Syed Faizan Ahmad, Unani Colleges and Hospitals are vastly established in all over India but in the state of West Bengal there was no such facility till 1994 when the All India Unani Tibbi Conference (West Bengal unit) having its Head Office in Delhi. The college got affiliated to the University of Calcutta in 1998 and shifted to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences from 2004 – 05. The College & Hospital has developed fast since its inception. It has attached 100 bedded Hospital. The College and Hospital is managed by the Governing Body.
