About

The Burdwan Medical College was established in a year 1969, located in Bardhaman town of West Bengal. The hospital was established in 1922, founded as The Yeung Wo Nursing Home with 28 beds in the beginning, today the Hospital has around 500 beds and more than 30 specialty center. The institute is recognized for MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh courses by National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi. The courses are affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata.

Facilities:

Library: The institution has a library that has all kinds of text and reference books for the students and is a perfect place for book lovers.
