B. R. Singh Hospital is named after Baba Ramrik Singh, the First Agent of East Bengal Railways in the Pre-Independent Era and established in the Year 1934.It was established in the form of Health Unit to serve the employees of the Traffic Department of Railways of Eastern Region. B.R Singh Hospital , the Head Quarter Hospital and Research Centre of Eastern Railway is unique because of its excellent contributionin the fields of patient care and management, industrial and public health management including family welfare activities, as well as excellent academic contributions to the field of medicine at both National and International levels.
