Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Course

Overview

Vivacristo's AHA-certified BLS course provides essential, foundational skills for individuals to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The program focuses on high-quality chest compressions, proper use of a bag-mask device for ventilation, and the safe and effective operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Through hands-on practice and realistic scenarios, participants learn to act quickly and effectively in cardiac arrest and choking incidents, significantly improving the chances of survival for victims until advanced medical help arrives. This certification is a fundamental requirement for many healthcare roles.

 

Eligibility

• There are no formal educational prerequisites for the BLS course itself, other than the ability to participate in and complete the course material and practical skills.
• It's suitable for:
• Healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals).
• First responders.
• Anyone with a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency.
• Lay rescuers who want to be prepared for emergencies.
