Bachelor of Vocational in Medical Lab Technology (BVoc MLT)

Overview

This 3‑year B.Voc in Medical Laboratory Technology is structured to provide 60% vocational training and 40% general education, as per UGC norms. Practical exposure starts early with OJT in partner labs and hospitals. In later semesters, apprenticeships (often paid) help students gain real-world skills in sample collection, diagnostics, equipment handling (CBC machines, auto‑analyzers), quality control, and departmental rotations. Upon completion, graduates are well‑prepared for roles in clinical labs, diagnostic centers, blood banks, and research institutes, with competitive employability due to hands-on experience 

Eligibility

Successfully passed 10+2 with PCB stream, ≥50% aggregate

No prior vocational diploma required (entry from 12th)

Merit-based admission; some short interviews possible but no formal external entrance exam
