Overview
The B.Voc in Radiology & Medical Imaging Technology is designed to train skilled imaging technologists through a mix of theory, practical labs, and hands-on hospital training. The curriculum covers:
- Semester 1–2: Anatomy, physiology, fundamentals of imaging and radiological physics, ethics, and patient care
- Semester 3–4: In-depth training on conventional imaging modalities (X-ray, dark-room techniques), CT, MRI, ultrasound, contrast studies, and interventional radiography .
- Semester 5–6: Advanced modules in imaging systems, image quality control, radiation safety, digital imaging systems (PACS), and extensive clinical internships in diverse diagnostic settings.
Upon completion, graduates are competent in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, managing patient-care during scans, ensuring safety protocols, and preparing reports across various hospital and clinical settings. Career roles include Radiologic Technologist, CT/MRI Technologist, Ultrasound Technician, Mammography Technician, Nuclear Medicine Assistant, PACS Administrator, or Clinical Instructor
