Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

• Candidates must have reached the age of 17 by August 31st.
• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with physics, chemistry, and biology, securing at least 45% marks. Additionally, applicants need to be medically fit to qualify.
• The selection process for both Government and Management seats involves an entrance examination conducted annually in July/August by either Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, or Atal Medical and Research University, Mandi.

This is a under graduate course offered at MPCN and runs for four years. The course is most sought after in terms of the number of career opportunities that will be opened up to the student. Graduates may prefer to opt for placement through MPCN or prefer to pursue their academic or research interests. The course combines the theory and practice of nursing in order to prepare nurses who will give their best to their choice of workplace like clinics, community, academics, research.

Documents required at the time of admission:

• Five photocopies of the Matriculation Certificate and the Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) along with mark sheets.
• Aadhar Card.
• Character and Conduct Certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Medical fitness certificate from a Government Senior Medical Officer/Surgeon.
• Six recent colored passport-sized photographs.
• Residence/Domicile Certificate.
• Four photocopies of the Migration Certificate.
• Caste or category certificates for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or BPL categories.
