Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

This is a 4 Years graduate study program which is affiliated to RGUHS, KNC & INC which has major emphasis on basic human science pathophysiological changes, scope of disease, treatment and research to develop a student as a professional nurse, educator, tressarder and nurse practitioner. Scope of nursing practice encompasses provision of promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative inspective aspects of care to people across their life span in wide variety of health care settings. Practice of nursing is based upon application of basic concepts and principles derived from the physical, biological and behavioral science, medicine and nursing. Nursing is based on values of caring, and aims to help individuals to attain independence in self-care, it necessitates development of compassion and understanding of human behavior among its practitioners to provide care with respect and dignity and protect the rights of individuals & groups.

Under graduate nursing education program prepares its graduates to become exemplary citizen by adhering to code of ethics and professional conduct at all times in fulfilling personal, social and professional obligations so as respond to national aspiration.

• A Candidate seeking admission should have passed 10+2/PUC/PDC examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, Viz., Physics, Chemistry, Biology with aggregate of 45% of marks and English subject is mandatory to get 45%.
• Candidate must complete 17 years of age by Dec 31 of commencing academic year.
• Maximum age limit is 35 years.
