- The applicant’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st July i.e., the applicant should have been born on or before 31st July.
- Candidate must pass the subjects Physics Chemistry Biology General /EWS with 45% marks and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBCB/PwD with 40% marks.
- Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last ten years till 31st December.
