Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

Basic B.Sc Nursing Course-Minimum age- 17 years Maximum age-35 years

• Minimum Qualification – 10+2 class or its equivalent passed with aggregate of 45% marks in Science which consist of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology conducted by the department of pre-university education in anywhere in India. In respect of candidates belonging to SC or ST the marks obtained in Physics , Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be not less than 40% instead of 45% as above.
• Pass class in English subject.
• Students will be eligible for admission once in an academic year.
• Students are expected to be medically fit.

The purpose of Basic B.Sc nursing course is to prepare a qualified general nurse and midwife who will function as a member of a Health team, beginning with consultancy for the first level position in hospital, community health services especially in rural areas and in education spectrum as a Lecturer.
