Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Minimum Education:

• A candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination (10+2) i.e., (10+2) from recognized Board under AISSE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having science subjects and English.
• For the candidates belonging to SC/ ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40%.

B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on developing critical thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The programme is streamlined to enable students to address the health needs of the nation, society and individuals.
