Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

• The minimum requirement is pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent securing not less than 45% with Biology, Physics, Chemistry & English.
• Female candidates with good conduct and sound health between 17 and 35 years of age.
• Good knowledge of English is essential.
• Religious sisters should have completed one year of religious profession.
• Admission of students shall be once a year.

• English shall be the medium of instruction for the course as well as for the examination.
• The main objectives of the Nursing Education are to prepare the students through appropriate educational programs and clinical training to assume responsibilities as professional nurses in the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of care of the sick and to build them up mentally, emotionally and physically through guidance and supervision, for such responsibilities.

Admission is open only to unmarried women. Special consideration will be given to religious sisters.

Documents Required at the time of Admission:

• Birth certificate
• SSLC/CBSE/ICSC certificates
• Certificate of II PUC or its equivalent with mark list.
• Transfer Certificate from the institute last attended.
• Conduct certificate from the head of the institution where last attended.
• Four recent passport size photographs.
• Recent physical fitness certificate.
• Migration certificate for those outside Karnataka.
• Caste Certificate & income certificate
