Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

On completed of B.Sc. Nursing degree programme the graduate will be able to:-

• Assess health status; identify nursing needs, plan, implement and valuable nursing care for patients/ clients that contribute to health of individual, families and communities.
• Demonstrate competency in technique of nursing based on concepts and principles from selected areas of nursing, physical, biological and behavioral sciences.
• Participate as members of health care team in the promotive, preventive, curative and restorative health care delivery system of the country.
• Demonstrate skill in communication and interpersonal relationship.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and decision making abilities in various situations.
• Demonstrate skills in teaching to individual and group in community health settings.
• Demonstrate managerial skills in community health settings.

• The minimum educational qualification admission in B.Sc. (N) shall be 10+2 of CBSE or State Govt. curriculum with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or any other exam equivalent 10+2 from a recognized Examination Board.
• The minimum requirements of marks for admission will be 55% in 10+2 is compulsory for B.Sc. Nursing.
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
