Overview
B.Sc. Nursing is a 4 year undergraduate full time programme comprising eight semesters focused on developing critical Care, advanced thinking skills proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional Nursing and Midwifery. As per the Indian Nursing Council, the course is offered under the choice based credit system (CBCS). The revised curriculum embraces competency-based approach throughout the program integrating mastery learning and self-directed learning. Students are provided with opportunities to learn a whole range of nursing skills in addition to acquiring knowledge related to nursing practice. This is achieved through learning in skill lab/simulated labs and clinical environment. Semester examination will be conducted in both theory and practical by West Bengal University of Health Sciences as prescribed by INC.

Eligibility
- All candidates must have minimum age of 17 years as on or before 31st December and not exceeding the maximum age of 35 years as on 31st December.
- Candidates must have passed the class 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English from recognized board with secure an aggregate of 45% and for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates with 40%.
- Candidates found guilty of misconduct or convicted for any offence shall not be eligible for admission.
- Candidate should be medically fit.
- Candidate should be a citizen of India.
