Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

Overview

BSc Nursing is a 4-year long Indian undergraduate course focused on training talented nursing and paramedic workers. This is offered by top universities in India such as CMC Vellore, AFMC Pune, JIPMER Puducherry, and several other medical colleges. BSc Nursing’s Syllabus focuses on teaching students the core competencies in Nursing, Human Anatomy, Nutrition, Microbiology, and Genetics. In addition, the curriculum of the course also focuses on demonstrating compassion , empathy and a general caring disposition towards the patients to their students.

Eligibility

Students need to have completed their Class XII in Science stream with at least 50 percent marks to be able to follow this course. Biology as a subject is mandatory to apply for the course. In Class XII some colleges can also ask for English as a subject.
