Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Unmarried female candidates only.
• Candidate should be age between 17 - 35 years as on 31st December
• Age relaxation of 05 years for ST/SC candidates & 03 years for O.B.C. Candidates.
• Educational qualifications: Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate / HS or equivalent Examination in Science with biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) from any recognized Board/Council/University.
• Candidate must have passed English subject with minimum of 40 (Forty) marks in 10+2 examination.
• Candidates must be physically and mentally fit at the time of admission and during the duration of the whole course. Getting married during the duration of course shall not be allowed.

The B.Sc. nursing programme is designed to enable students to get a wider understanding of nursing based on scientific principles and clinical experience. Students will be trained and educated on the processes of wellness, illness & disease management and health promotion. Will train the students with the ability to critically think and care for the patient, well-disciplined and assertive, responsive to the dynamic needs of the community, the health care delivery system as well as the society. Will train the students to take up decisions on their own in difficult nursing situations. Will also train the students to protect the rights of the patients. Will help in training the students to take up research initiatives in nursing as well as apply an evidenced based form of practice.

Selection will be strictly on merit basis on marks obtained in qualifying examination and admission Selection Test/interview. Selected candidates will have to undergo all admission formalities including Medical Examination and only the medically fit candidates will be granted admission. Provisionally selected candidate shall have to confirm their admission by completing all admission procedure and by paying First Installment payment along with 2 months Hostel fee within 7 ( seven) days from the date of issue of selection letter failing which admission shall stand cancelled and candidate in waiting will be admitted.

The selected candidates must produce the following documents in original at the time of admission:-

• Self attested passport size photograph – 06 nos.
• Stamp size photograph - 03 nos.
• Original Mark sheet of Class X and XII along with Xerox copy (4 nos.)
• Original pass certificate of Class X and XII along with Xerox copy (4 nos.)
• Mark sheet of qualifying examination/ANM pass certificate.
• Original and Xerox copy of SC/ST/OBC (4 nos.).
• Original School / College Leaving Certificate.
• Original Migration Certificate.
• Xerox copy of Gap certificate (2 nos.).
• Admission Registration fee paid receipt.
• Medical Fitness Certificate along with original test report of the following (CBC, Chest X-ray, ECG, Ophthalmology, Urine test, Haemoglobin).
