Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

Candidate must have passed 12th science with minimum 45% (Science B group) SC/ST 5% relaxation.

On completion of the Four years B. Sc. Nursing Programme the Graduate will be able to: –

• Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including Alternative Systems and Nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families, and communities.
• Demonstrate an understanding of lifestyle and other factors, which affect the health of individuals and groups.
• Provide Nursing Care based on steps of nursing of Nursing Process in collaboration with the individuals and group
• Demonstrate Critical Thinking in making Decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care.
• Utilize the latest Trends and Technology in Providing Health Care.
• Provide Promotive, Preventive, and Restorative Health Services in line with the National Health Policies and Programs.
• Practice within the framework of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and Acceptable Standards of Practice within the Legal Boundaries.
• Communicate effectively with individuals and groups and members of the Health Team in order to promote Effective Interpersonal Relationships and Team Work.
  Demonstrate skills in Teaching to individuals and groups in Clinical / Community health settings
• Participate effectively as Member of the Health Team in Health Care Delivery System.
• Demonstrate Leadership and Managerial Skills in Clinical / Community Health Settings
• Conduct Need-Based Research Studies in Various Settings and Utilize the Research Findings to Improve the Quality of Care.
• Demonstrate awareness, interest and contribute towards Advancement of Self and of the Profession.

• Candidate can apply online within the time specified by the admission committee.
• Before filling the application form candidates must ensure his/her eligibility.
• The application form must be filled and submitted on or before its last date.
• Merit list of Gujarat nursing admission will be published on the official website.
• The seat will be allotted on the basis of categories.
• Government seats:75% of the total approved seats of Gujarat professional nursing and allied medical education courses in the unaided schools, colleges or institutions.
• Management seats: 25% seats of the total approved seats including 15% Non –resident Indian seats of Gujarat professional nursing and allied medical education courses in the unaided schools, colleges or institutions.
• If any management seat remains vacant, such seat will be filled in as the available Government seat.
• Cancellation of admission
• Suspension from attending classes
• Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits
• Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation processes
• Withholding results
• Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
• Suspension/expulsion from the hostel
• Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters
• Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
• Collective punishment: when the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers.
