The course of study leading to Basic B. Sc. Nursing is a full time degree program comprises of four completed academic years including research work and internship. Admission procedure shall be based on the guidelines of Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik.
The Program is designed to prepare the student nurses to develop critical thinking skills, competencies and standards that required to practice in ever changing health care setting through in depth integration of theory, practice and research, so the graduate registered nurse (RNRM) can assume the role as nurse clinician, ward supervisor, manager, nurse teacher and many more in different health care system.

There is no entrance examination for ANM, GNM, PB B. Sc. (N) and M. Sc. (N) courses. However, for Basic B. Sc. (N) course, the entrance examination shall be conducted by DMER based on the guidelines of Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai.
Application form for admission available with prospectus and can be obtained from the institute on payment of Rs. 1000/- for B. Sc. (N), PB B. Sc. (N)& M. Sc. (N), Rs. 500/- for GNM and Rs. 250/- for ANM by way of cash or demand draft drawn in favor of Principal, Dr. PDNI. Read prospectus carefully for proper information before filling the application form. The last date of submission of form will be displayed on notice board. The form must be filled in block letters (wherever necessary), and Filled in application form shall be considered only when fulfills the following criteria –
