Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

• As per Indian Nursing Council norms, the candidates should have passed +2 with 12 years of schooling and a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology& English.
• As per norms of Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS) for admission for B.Sc Nursing, the minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-Degree Examination (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

AGE :

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission and shall be medically fit.

BSc (Bachelor of Science) in nursing is a four year professional degree course recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) , Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). On successful completion of the four year course the student shall be awarded with Bachelor of Science in nursing degree by KUHS and Registration certificate by KNMC respectively, which entitles them to function as Registered Nurse and Midwife (RNRM).
