Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate should have a 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with the aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. The student shall be medically fit. Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. The student shall be admitted once a year.

Minimum Education

B.Sc. Nursing deals with the knowledge of providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. It also provides nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration with the other health care team members.The programme aims to provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of nursing care.
This programme helps the graduate to be charged with the responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing comprehensive among care in promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
Prepare competent nurses to function in the hospital, community nursing services both government & private health sectors.
Prepare nurses to assume the role of teacher, clinical supervisor manager in a clinical / public health setting and an administrator.
Prepare the graduate for higher studies for their career growth.
