10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English.

The college of Nursing utilizes the staff and facilities available at Rajah Muthiah Medical College and the Rajah Muthiah Medical College Hospital which is a 1150 bedded hospital having 24 patient care units, situated opposite to the college which gives a rich experience for the practical learning of students. Students have adequate transportation and community centre facilities to care people in the rural and urban area. All the students are members of Students Nurses Association (SNA) and the students participate in various inter-collegiate competitions and at state and national level. Students actively participate in YRC, NSS, Rotary Club activities and in University competitions and students performing academically best are awarded endowment prizes. Separate Hostel named Tmt. Sigappi Achi Nursing Students Hostel is situated near to the college and it has bath attached rooms, separate mess and 24 hours electricity, R.O water supply and Wi-Fi network.

BSc in Nursing Admission Process in India is conducted through both entrance exam score and merit.
