Overview
The B.Sc. (Honours) Microbiology programme covers a wide range of basic and applied microbiology courses as well as courses of interdisciplinary nature. The core courses that are a part of the programme are designed to build a strong microbiology knowledge base in the student, and furthermore, acquaints the students with the applied aspects of this fascinating discipline as well. The student is thus equipped to pursue higher studies in an institution of her/his choice, and to apply the skills learnt in the programme to solving practical societal problems. The programme offers a wide range of elective courses to the student. These include skill enhancement courses that prepare the student for an eventual job in academia or industry

Eligibility
Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations: Physics + Chemistry + Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 30% score in any one language of List A in CUET.

Admission Process:
- Admissions to undergraduate (UG) programs at the University of Delhi are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) or entrance-based (that is, based on written/practical tests depending on the program selected by an aspiring student).
Candidates will need scanned copies of the certificates on the basis of which they wish to claim admission: (a) Class X certificate
(b) Class XII certificate
(c) Relevant reservation certificate issued by competent issuing authority
(d) Self attested copies of requisite certificates for admission under sports/ ECA Quota.
