Eligibility Criteria

The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-degree Examination (10+2) (Physics, Chemistry & Biology & English) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE), For reserve category 40% for SC, ST, NT, OBC & other reserve categories.
Candidate shall be medically fit.
Entrance/Selection Test: Selections of the candidates is being made by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination on the basis of merit after conducting Entrance Examination.

Minimum Education

A Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care Technology is a four-year undergraduate program that prepares students to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Respiratory therapists help physicians care for patients with cardiopulmonary problems, such as: Emphysema, Asthma, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Cardiac failure, Chest trauma.
Respiratory Care Technology is an allied course for students who want to pursue a career in the medical field. Students learn about all aspects of the human respiratory system and the associated diseases.
The course covers cardiovascular respiratory systems and diseases, their treatment, and respiratory care. The last semester is a mandatory six months or one-year internship.
