Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Renal Dialysis Technology

• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-degree Examination (10+2) (Physics, Chemistry & Biology & English) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE), For reserve category 40% for SC, ST, NT, OBC & other reserve categories.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
• Entrance/Selection Test: Selections of the candidates is being made by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination on the basis of merit after conducting Entrance Examination.

The paramedical field offers a three-year program called B.Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology. Students enrolled in this program will gain knowledge about the removal of toxins, excess water, and solutes from the blood in individuals whose kidneys are no longer able to function normally. The program provides students with knowledge of renal anatomy, physiology, kidney diseases, and special extracorporeal therapies. It also prepares students to perform hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis for people with end-stage kidney disease and acute kidney injury.
