Overview

The B.Sc. (Honours) in Radiotherapy Technology at SIHS, Lavale, Pune is designed to prepare students as proficient radiotherapy technologists. The programme emphasizes radiation safety, patient care, and technical skill in operating high-precision radiotherapy equipment. Learning integrates simulated training, clinical case exposure, and supervised hospital rotations—primarily at SUHRC and partner radiotherapy centers. Students are also guided in research methodology, grant proposal writing, and the latest advancements in cancer care. Graduates are positioned to work in oncology departments, radiotherapy centers, research institutions, or pursue higher degrees. 

Eligibility

Indian nationals and eligible foreign candidates

Must have passed 10+2 with any two of the specified science subjects

Minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST)

Admission requires performance in Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) followed by Personal Interview / Written Ability Test (PI-WAT / GE-PI-WAT).
