Overview
The B.Sc. The radiography programme is a focused undergraduate degree designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in medical imaging and diagnostic radiography. The curriculum covers foundational sciences such as anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, imaging physics and modalities, as well as specialised instruction in radiographic positioning, image acquisition, radiation protection and safety, digital imaging, CT/MRI/ultrasound techniques, equipment operation and maintenance, and patient care in the imaging environment. Students gain hands-on exposure through clinical attachments or internships in hospitals and diagnostic imaging centres, developing competence in capturing high-quality diagnostic images, collaborating with radiologists and technologists, managing imaging workflow and ensuring safety protocols. With increasing demand for imaging services in healthcare, graduates of this programme are well-positioned for roles in hospitals, diagnostic centres, imaging equipment vendors, research labs or higher studies in medical imaging.
