Overview
This is a comprehensive three-year degree training students in ocular diagnostics and vision care technology. The curriculum includes theoretical instruction in vision science and ophthalmic pathology, hands-on lab and clinical training in refraction, optometry, imaging, and eye hospital procedures. Graduates are equipped to assist ophthalmologists, manage vision-testing centers, perform diagnostic tests, and support optical research and industry. RUHS awards the degree upon successful completion, enabling graduates to serve in clinical, diagnostic, or optical roles.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31 in the admission year.
- Completion of 10 + 2 with PCB (or PCM/B), and English, meeting 50% minimum aggregate (45% reserved) criteria
- Admission is merit-based (no entrance test) via centralized online counselling for RUHS B.Oph.T programs; seats allocated by merit and choice preferences, with domicile/reservation norms
