• Passed 10+2 / Senior Secondary with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
• Must have a minimum aggregate percentage as per category (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.) in 10+2 exams.
• Likely to pass in each subject individually. (Common requirement)
• Must satisfy AIIMS-Paramedical counselling/admission rules (rank/cutoff).

AIIMS Bilaspur offers the degree of Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology, a full-time undergraduate program spanning three years. The course is designed to impart both theoretical and practical training in operating theatre management, surgical assistance, sterilisation, handling OT equipment, safety protocols, patient monitoring and care associated with surgical procedures. Students are trained to assist during surgeries, manage the operating theatre environment, work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons and nursing staff, and maintain records and safety standards. The curriculum includes exposure to modern OT technology and best practices in infection control. The admission is competitive through the AIIMS paramedical counselling process, where cutoff ranks are used. Graduates can work in hospitals (public and private), diagnostic and surgical centres, trauma care facilities, and other healthcare settings requiring OT services.

1. Ensure eligibility: 10+2 with required Science subjects (PCB) and minimum marks.
2. Monitor announcement of AIIMS Paramedical / AIIMS Bilaspur’s admission notification for B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology.
3. Register for counselling / apply through the AIIMS Paramedical Counselling Portal when applications open.
4. Submit required documents (10+2 mark sheets, identity proof, category certificate if applicabl,e etc.).
5. Participate in counselling/seat allotment rounds according to rank/cutoff.
6. Once selected, complete verification of documents and pay the required course fees.
7. Join the academic programme and follow the course schedule for 3 years. Possibly undergo any required practical/clinical training or internship if mandated.
