Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Operation Theatre Technology

Overview

The B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology is designed to develop skilled professionals who support surgical teams in operating environments. The curriculum covers anatomy, anaesthesia principles, surgical procedures (ENT, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, neurology), CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department), ICU basics, advanced anaesthetic techniques, OT management, life support, healthcare ethics, and hospital administration. Training is delivered through theory, practical lab sessions, clinical postings, and hospital internships over four years (including one-year hands-on training) 

Eligibility

10+2 with PCB or PCM and ≥ 50% marks

Selection via merit-based evaluation and personal interview (PI) or entrance test depending on year
