Overview

    The B.Sc. OT & Anesthesia Technology program at AIMSRC is structured to train students in modern surgical support and anesthesia care. With a large multispecialty hospital on campus, students receive extensive hands-on exposure in general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OBG, pediatric surgery, emergency medicine, and critical care units. The department provides training in operating room protocols, anaesthesia equipment management, airway handling, patient preparation, intraoperative assistance, and sterilization techniques. AIMSRC offers advanced modular OTs with laminar airflow, high-tech anesthesia workstations, simulation labs, and a well-equipped skills center for practical learning. Students also participate in emergency postings, ICU rotations, and 1-year internship, ensuring they become competent OT and anesthesia technologists ready for hospital-based careers.

Eligibility

    1. Must have passed 10+2 / PUC with PCB and English
    2. Minimum 45% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC)
    3. Must be at least 17 years of age
    4. Must satisfy RGUHS eligibility norms
    5. Should be medically fit
    6. Must qualify through KEA counseling or institutional/management quota admission

Admission Process:

    1. Register for KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) counselling or apply directly under the management quota.
    2. Submit all academic and identification documents.
    3. Attend KEA counselling and select AIMSRC – B.Sc. OT & Anaesthesia Technology.
    4. Receive allotment and report to the college with original documents.
    5. Pay the required tuition and hostel fees.
    6. Complete medical fitness evaluation and admission formalities.
    7. Begin classes as per the RGUHS academic calendar.
