Overview
The B.Sc. MLT program at AIMSRC equips students with comprehensive training in laboratory diagnostics and clinical testing procedures. With a fully equipped central diagnostic laboratory within AIMSRC’s multispecialty hospital, students receive hands-on experience in hematology, microbiology, clinical pathology, histopathology, biochemistry, and transfusion medicine. The course integrates practical training with advanced diagnostic equipment, automated analyzers, microscopic evaluations, and molecular techniques. Students are mentored by experienced pathologists and lab technologists, participate in academic seminars, and gain exposure to both routine and emergency laboratory services. The compulsory one-year internship further enhances their technical expertise and prepares them for careers in hospitals, diagnostic centers, research labs, and biotech industries.

Eligibility
- Passed 10+2/PUC with PCB & English
- Minimum 45% aggregate in PCB (40% for reserved categories)
- Minimum age of 17 years
- Must be medically fit
- Admission through KEA counseling or Management Quota
- Must fulfill RGUHS eligibility norms

Admission Process:
- Register and apply through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) or directly to AIMSRC under the management quota.
- Submit all required academic documents for verification.
- Attend KEA counseling and select AIMSRC – B.Sc. MLT.
- If allotted, download the KEA allotment order and report to the institute.
- Complete document verification and pay the required fees.
- Undergo a medical fitness check and finalize admission formalities.
- Begin the course as per RGUHS academic schedule.
