Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Overview

This is a three-year undergraduate paramedical course designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise in medical laboratory disciplines. The curriculum includes regular theory classes, practical lab sessions, clinical internship/training in hospital laboratories, seminars, and project sessions. Graduates are prepared to work as medical laboratory technologists performing diagnostic tests, analyzing patient samples, maintaining quality assurance standards, and supporting clinical decisions in healthcare settings. Upon successful completion, RUHS awards the degree, and the graduate becomes eligible for certification and employment in diagnostic laboratories across India and abroad. 

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board.

Minimum of 45% marks required (40% for reserved categories).

Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 in the admission year; maximum age limits may apply—commonly around 25 years for males and 28 years for females, depending on regulation

Admission operates via RUHS centralized entry, with priority to Rajasthan domicile candidates
