Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-degree Examination (10+2) (Physics, Chemistry & Biology & English) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE), For reserve category 40% for SC, ST, NT, OBC & other reserve categories.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
• Entrance/Selection Test: Selections of the candidates is being made by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination on the basis of merit after conducting Entrance Examination.

A Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT) is a three to four year undergraduate program that provides theoretical and practical knowledge on diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and health problems. The program is divided into six semesters. The program provides students with basic and advanced skills to practice as laboratory professionals in health administration and management. Students can pursue careers in diagnostics labs, academics, or set up their own diagnostic labs.
