Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Dialysis Technology

The B.Sc (Hons) in Dialysis Therapy Technology at PES University is a professional allied health undergraduate program designed to develop competent dialysis technologists ready to serve in renal care settings. Over four years, students study core biomedical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, and microbiology, combined with specialised modules on renal disease, haemodialysis principles, equipment operation, patient monitoring, and care protocols. The curriculum blends classroom learning with extensive practical exposure in state-of-the-art dialysis facilities attached to the university’s hospitals, ensuring students gain real-world skills under expert supervision. During the final year internship, students participate in clinical placements where they assist in dialysis procedures, patient assessment, machine setup, and safety practices. Graduates are prepared for roles in hospitals, dialysis centres, healthcare technology firms, research units, and community health settings. 1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English from a recognised board.
2. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or equivalent).
3. Attempting NEET is mandatory as per PES University admissions policy.
4. Selection through PES Entrance Process (online interview/test) or merit evaluation.
