Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Dialysis Technology

Applicant must have passed 12th std. with Biology Subject.

The course duration is 4 Years including 1 Year of Internship.

This Course provides basic Knowledge and complete theoretical, Practical and technical training relevant to Dialysis including Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. The Candidate will be trained in providing wholesome renal care for Chronic Kidney Disease Patient. Dialysis Technology is an under graduate allied health science specialization course. It is a four years program including one year internship. The course is designed to prepare students to administer hemodialysis treatments for patients with renal failure, under the supervision of a physician. The course imparts knowledge in basic anatomy and physiology, dialysis preparation, dialysis prescription interpretation, extracorporeal circuit, dialyzer setup and maintenance, patient preparation, equipment monitoring, venipuncture and local Anesthesia administration, taking vital signs, documentation & communication, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.
