Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Anaesthesia Technology

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

• Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.

• Qualify in the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Test conducted by AIIMS for paramedical UG courses. (Seat allotment based on paramedical counselling ranks.)

The B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology at AIIMS Raebareli is a dedicated undergraduate program designed to build expertise in anaesthesia practice technology and allied surgical support. As a 3-year program, it combines theoretical learning in basic sciences, anaesthesia procedures, equipment handling and clinical monitoring with practical training in operating theatres and critical care settings under supervisory faculty. The curriculum emphasises understanding anaesthesia equipment, patient monitoring systems, safety protocols, aseptic techniques and peri-operative care. Students also learn to assist anaesthesiologists in preparing for procedures, manage respiratory and monitoring devices, and support pain control and patient comfort. The program positions graduates for roles in hospitals, surgical centres, intensive care units, emergency departments and diagnostic facilities, strengthening the paramedical workforce delivering safe and efficient anaesthetic support services.

1. Apply online for the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Examination for the relevant academic session when registration opens.
2. Appear for the paramedical entrance exam conducted by AIIMS (all India level).
3. Check the merit list / rank list published based on entrance performance.
4. Participate in the paramedical counselling round (seat allotment) through AIIMS central counselling authority based on rank and category.
5. Report to AIIMS Raebareli with required documents for verification upon seat allotment confirmation.
6. Complete admission formalities including fee payment and enrolment.
7. Apply for hostel accommodation if required and available.
