Overview

• Respiratory Technology is an upcoming branch of Healthcare profession devoted to the scientific application of technology in order to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, management and care of patients with cardiopulmonary and associated disorders.
• Respiratory Therapists are important members of modern healthcare teams. They have specialized medical expertise and use their knowledge and skills to provide safe, high-quality care to the patients.
• The curriculum is developed to educate students to transform them to highly skilled Respiratory therapist. In addition, they are also given orientation in Research and education. The job opportunities are abundant in Critical care, Acute care (hospital), Emergency care, Paediatric care and Outpatient / homecare settings.

Eligibility

• Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
• Candidate must have passed with 50% HSC/CBSE/ISCE (10+2) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology and English individually.
