We are offering a higher learning and progressive program of B. Sc. in Medical Microbiology that deals in the study of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites which are of medical importance and are capable of causing diseases in human beings. The course structure is designed in a manner that covers in-depth knowledge of the properties of microorganisms and their impact on mankind. The students are also taught about the different characteristics of pathogens and how infections develop and spread. The successful completion of our three-years degree program in medical microbiology develops our students as professionals who possess solid academic, scientific and practical knowledge of the field. These individuals are usually proactive and decisive and strongly believe that every service to the community must be done on moral and ethical grounds. These experts most of the time take up a master’s program in microbiology and might also choose to pursue their Ph. Ds. Admission Process:

    In accordance with guidelines/principals laid down in the order of the Hon’ble supreme Court of the India in T.M.A. Pai Foundation and other Vs State of Karnataka, the admission of the candidate to a course is made on the merits prepared on the basis of entrance examination on All India basis and the subsequent interview held by the institute. 25% seats in all courses are reserved for NRI/sponsored candidates, for which their shall be direct admission on the basis of the marks obtained in qualifying examination and interview. The candidates should bring marksheet and certificates in original along with the photocopies at the time of the interview.

    Distribution of Seats :-

    75% seats of sanctioned intake will be open and will be filled through common entrance test and interview conducted by the Institute on the basis of merit. This 75% includes 10% seats of the sanctioned intake earn market for students belonging to poor and weaker section of the society including SC / ST / OBC and 50% seats of the sanctioned intake earn market to the bonafide candidate of Uttarakhand State, 2% Physically Challenged and 1% for students bonafied of J. & K. State. In case, the above category seat remains vacant after the expiry of the time given to the candidates of the second list, the seats shall revert to the general category.
