Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Family and Community Sciences

The applicant should have passed Std. 12th (H.S.C.) - Science/ General Stream or equivalent Examination from a recognized board with ENGLISH as one of the subjects.If the applicant has passed XII Examination without English as a subject but through English as a medium of instruction in school, a certificate from the school needs to be attached stating particulars about medium of instruction.

After completing the First year B.Sc. with common courses, the area of specialization for the remaining two years of B.Sc. Degree Programme will be offered on the basis of merit/ tests wherever applicable.

Areas of Specialization are:

(i) Clothing and Textiles (Clothing & Textiles and Fashion Designing),

(ii) Family and Community Resource Management (Interior Design and Hospitality Management),

(iii) Extension and Communication,

(iv) Foods and Nutrition (Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science and Quality Control),

(v) Human Development and Family Studies,

(vi) General Level Program

Online Admission through MSUB Portal on merit basis.

Program Fees :

(a) For Boys = 8390 / year

(b) For Girls = 7190/year
