Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Overview

The BPT program at PDUNIPPD is a rigorous 4½-year undergraduate course affiliated with the University of Delhi, aimed at producing skilled physiotherapy professionals. It integrates a strong theoretical foundation with clinical application through six months of internships posted at the institute's own outpatient departments and various renowned hospitals across Delhi. A one-month rural posting is also mandatory, ensuring exposure to diverse healthcare environments. With an annual intake of 68 students, the program emphasizes hands-on learning in anatomy, electrotherapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation technologies.

Eligibility

Passed 10+2 (PCBE) with minimum 50% aggregate for General category; 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/CWAPP 

Age requirement: At least 17 years as of October 1 of the admission year; maximum age—23 years for General, 28 years for SC/ST/PH.
