Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate seeking admission to first-year BPT:

Candidate Should have passed two years Pre University examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.
Candidates who have completed Pre-university courses with Vocational Physiotherapy as their optional subject are eligible for admission to the BPT course.
Shall have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate examination established by State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre University Examination by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences/Association of Indian Universities.

About Course

A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.
English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for the examinations of the BPT course.
The selection of students to a course of Physiotherapy shall be based on merit provided that:

a) In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination, a candidate for admission to BPT course must have passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained not less than 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to submit these documents along with the filled application forms and 8 recent passport size photographs.
