Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Overview

Physiotherapy is a health profession primarily concerned with the remediation of impairments and disabilities of the patients. It promotes mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention of the patients.

Eligibility

A candidate applying for the degree of B.P.T being eligible for admission to the Physiotherapy College affiliated to UGC recognized University must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board and passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English. Or Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent examination as per the guidelines of the Association of Indian Universities to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English up to 12th Standard level.
