Overview
After B.Pharm, students can pursue higher studies like M.Pharm degree for improving their skills and knowledge with monthly stipend after qualifying the GPAT examination. After Qualifying in GRE, TOEFL, IELTS entrance examinations they can pursue MS (Pharm), MBA and other pharmacy related courses in USA, UK, Canada and Australia etc.
B.Pharm graduate can directly join in Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate (PB) 3 years Program. B.Pharm candidate can take up the role of a medical scientific writer, Industry pharmacists, Formulation Development (F&D) Associate, Drug Inspector/Analysis, Marketing professional, whole sale and retail sale of drugs. They can also serve as lecturer in D. Pharm institution.

Eligibility
All categories of candidate except SC/ST community should have minimum of 40% aggregate marks in HSc with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, or Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology). Diploma in Pharmacy holders (from a PCI recognized institute) is eligible to pursue this course under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
