Pharmacy students are trained in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Microbiology, Pharmacy Practice (including drug interactions, medication review, and medication therapy management), Pharmacy law, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacoinformatics, Drug design and Discovery, Drug Logistics, Regulatory affairs and Pharmaceutical care. Additional curriculum covers diagnosis with emphasis on laboratory tests, disease state management, therapeutics and prescribing, and selecting the most appropriate medication for the patients

Eligibility
- Higher Secondary Examination of Govt. of Kerala with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics/ as optional subjects.
- Any other Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as optional subjects approved as equivalent to any of the above examinations by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala.
A candidate who has undergone any of the following courses in English medium and passed the examination with an aggregate of 50% marks in the optional subjects.

Admission Process:
- Admission of students into the Degree Course will be on the basis of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or its equivalent, for the undergraduate course, unless specified otherwise. A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics or Computer Science or Biotechnology is necessary for securing admission.
