Many Multi National Pharmaceutical Companies are carrying out clinical trials in India wherein pharmacists are in high demand, the pharmaceutical industry involves in activities relating to the development, formulation, production or marketing of new drugs for clinical use. M. Pharm or Ph.D holders are absorbed in research work, to develop new useful drugs, in laboratories and in production work in analyzing them for purity and strength in the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmacists are hired within the central and state government departments- the Health Protection Branch of the Department of Health and Welfare, the Pest Control Division of Agriculture, the Department of National Defense, Provincial Research Councils, and the Provincial Departments of Agriculture or the Environment.

Eligibility

    To be eligible, one must pass with at least 50% marks in 10 + 2 (or an equivalent examination) with physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology as one of the subjects.

Minimum Education

12th Science PCB

Admission Process:

    To get admission into the Pharmacy course, students have to complete their 10+2 education & apply for national level or state level Pharmacy entrance exam. The national level entrance exam is Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2021).
