Government Medical College (also known as Maharshi Vashishtha Autonomous State Medical College), Rampur, Basti, was established in 2019 to provide accessible and quality medical education and healthcare services in eastern Uttar Pradesh. 1. Appear in NEET‑UG exam and qualify with the required cut‑off.
2. Register for NEET counselling through MCC (for All India Quota) and/or Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), UP (for State Quota).
3. Attend online counselling and choice filling for GMC Basti MBBS seats.
4. Participate in verification of documents during counselling rounds.
5. Seat allotment based on merit and choice preference.
6. Complete admission formalities at the college including fee payment and reporting before academic session begins.
