Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as main subjects.

Minimum aggregate marks: 50% for the General category (40% for reserved categories — as per NMC/NEET norms).

Qualified NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.

The MBBS programme at Khaja Bandanawaz University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kalaburagi is a 5.5-year undergraduate medical degree designed to develop competent and compassionate medical professionals who can serve diverse patient populations. The curriculum strictly follows the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines and combines theoretical knowledge with extensive clinical exposure. Students learn in well-equipped labs, simulation centres, and through hands-on training in the university’s teaching hospital, which supports broad clinical rotations in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, and other specialties. Community health, preventive medicine, and patient management skills are emphasised throughout the programme. Graduates are eligible to register as medical practitioners and pursue postgraduate education in various specialisations.

1. Appear and Qualify the NEET-UG exam (conducted by NTA).
2. Register for counselling through the All India Quota (15%) and/or State Quota (85%) as per guidelines.
3. Participate in counselling rounds conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) or MCC (for AIQ).
4. Choice filling & seat allotment based on rank, category, and preferences.
5. Document verification at allotted institute.
