Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.
2. Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for the general category (lower for reserved categories as per NTA norms).
3. Qualified NEET-UG conducted by NTA.
4. Must participate in state/All-India counselling (KEA & MCC).
5. Minimum age: typically 17 years on or before December 31 of the admission year. (standard eligibility for MBBS)

Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), established in 2022 as a government medical college in Haveri, Karnataka, offers a comprehensive MBBS degree program designed to train future medical professionals. The MBBS curriculum spans 5.5 years, integrating pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical education followed by a mandatory one-year internship to ensure practical exposure and experience in patient care.
