Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi is a premier government medical institution in Jharkhand, established in 1960, and is well-known for its comprehensive medical education. The MBBS course combines rigorous theoretical learning in pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects, along with hands-on clinical training in RIMS’ hospital facilities. With its affiliation to Ranchi University and recognition by the national medical regulatory body, the program ensures quality education and exposure to a wide variety of medical cases. The 1-year internship embedded into the course provides real-world clinical experience, preparing graduates for both general practice and specialisation. Being a state-run college, tuition fees are relatively modest, which makes it accessible to a broad range of students.
