Eligibility Criteria

Minimum age: 17 years by December 31 of the admission year.
Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
Minimum marks requirement:
• General category: ~50% in PCB
• Reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST): lower threshold, sometimes ~40–45% depending on category.
Qualified NEET UG.
Other standard documentation, domicile/caste/Aadhaar, etc., as per state/procurement rules. (Standard for counselling/admission)

Minimum Education

Zydus Medical College and Hospital, Dahod, is a self-financed medical college operating under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Government of Gujarat. It is managed by Zydus Foundation, Ahmedabad. The college provides tertiary healthcare services and medical education, especially serving tribal and underserved populations in eastern Gujarat and neighbouring districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The MBBS program is recognised by the NMC, ensuring that the curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, and hospital attachments meet national standards. Students spend the first part of the program in foundational medical sciences, progressively moving into clinical disciplines, with hands-on patient exposure through the attached teaching hospital. The final year involves a compulsory internship which gives students real practical skills in various clinical departments. The college has modern facilities, including lecture halls, labs, a hostel, a hospital, etc. Accommodations are provided.

Complete or be in the process of completing 10+2 (or equivalent) with required subjects (PCB + English).
Appear for the NEET UG exam.
Obtain a qualifying score in NEET UG per the required cutoffs.
Register for the state-level or national counselling, depending on the quota/reservoir. For Gujarat, it would be through the state counselling authority (ACPUGMEC) for professional UG medical courses.
Fill in the choice of colleges when counselling starts. Zydus Medical College will appear among the options.
Seat allotment as per merit/rank, reservation categories, and remaining seats.
After seat allotment, submission of required documents, verification, and payment of fees.
Reporting to college within prescribed dates, orientation, and starting the academic session.
